We study the electron density distribution in the leading edge and prominent material of different flux rope CME events. In an attempt to demonstrate a pile up effect in the leading edge of the CMEs, we also study the evolution of the density and mass distribution along time by following and fitting events through LASCO-C2 and C3 fields of view. To achieve that study, we used a simple flux rope model called GCS (Graduated Cylindrical Shell) that we fit to the different observations.
